FTTA (Fiber To The Antenna) patch cord is designed to accommodate for a large tolerance in Z-direction and offer the benefit of one-hand installation of the connector shell. With this new product offering, users can also conveniently remove and replace transceivers through a cutout in the bulkhead that completely eliminates the need to open the entire remote radio box and expose its contents to hazardous weather conditions. For the optical connection, the connector system includes an industry-standard ODC interface for fast mating with all ODC SFP transceivers.

ODVA connectors, together with the support optical cable, are becoming the standard interface specified in 3G,4G and WiMax Base Station remote radios and Fibre-to-the-Antenna applications. The product however, is not limited to the above applications. The ODVA cable assemblies have passed tests like salt mist, vibration and shock and meet protection class IP66.
They are well suited for Industrial and Aerospace and Defense applications.
Technical Information:
ODVA Style Cable Assemblies are available with LC or MPO connector types. All assemblies come with an ODVA style connector on one end and an LC, MPO, or ODVA style connector on the other end. Cable assemblies can be easily installed onto a panel by using an adapter.
